About Chess Group plc

Chess Group plc was established in 1987. The group has gained a reputation for setting up or investing in companies related to the commercial property industry. Recent developments have seen growth into other industry sectors with the launch of Chess IT and Lime Creative Solutions.

Chess Group plc started with the formation of an ambitious property development company Knight Real Estate (now Knight Property Group), closely followed by the purchase of architectural firm Space Solutions. In July 2007 the management team of Space Solutions acquired a majority stake in the business.
